Digital Collections of WHS Yearbooks and Town Death Records

The Winthrop Public Library and Museum
maintains digital copies of the
Winthrop High School Yearbook, The Echo,
which are available on the Internet Archives at
https://archive.org/details/winthroppubliclibrary.

The following yearbooks are available to either      download  to your own
device, or to simply view them online.

1915, 1918-1931, 1933-1968, 1970-1971, 1975-2014

In addition, The Winthrop Town Clerk has recently digitized Town Death Records for the years 1853 – 1967. These are digital copies of the original certificates and they’re fascinating. This project was also done by the Boston Public Library at no charge to the Town.

Both projects were completed at no cost to the Town of Winthrop. They were federally funded with LSTA funds through the
Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and administered by the Boston Public Library.
