The Winthrop Public Library and Museum
maintains digital copies of the
Winthrop High School Yearbook, The Echo,
which are available on the Internet Archives at

The following yearbooks are available to either      download  to your own
device, or to simply view them online.

1915, 1918-1931, 1933-1968, 1970-1971, 1975-2014

If you own a copy of any of the missing years, and would like to lend it to us, we could scan it and return it to you.  It would be greatly appreciated.

In addition, The Winthrop Town Clerk has digitized Town Death Records for the years 1853 – 1967. These are digital copies of the original certificates and they’re fascinating. This project was also done by the Boston Public Library at no charge.

Both projects were completed at no cost to the Town of Winthrop. They were federally funded with LSTA funds through the
Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and administered by the Boston Public Library.
