Display Space and Bulletin Boards Policy

DISPLAY SPACE & BULLETIN BOARDS POLICY

The Winthrop Public Library & Museum maintains bulletin boards and display spaces mainly for the purpose of promoting the services and programs of the library. Patrons are invited to make suggestions for themes or parallel agency activities, but the ultimate responsibility for design and placement of all displays rests with the staff of the library.

In addition, since the library serves as a community resource center, the library offers display space on our bulletin boards to local organizations or businesses as space allows. Library staff will monitor posted items and periodically remove outdated materials. Finally, the Library reserves the right to remove in whole or in part, postings which the Library deems inappropriate.
