Our Digital Heritage collection is a product of the NOBLE Library network. It presents historical photographs and images of historical items relating to the history of our community. In addition, we actively add new resources that will become a part of Winthrop history.
Project completed at no cost to the Town of Winthrop, but federally funded with LSTA funds through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and administered by the Boston Public Library.
The following yearbooks are available to either download to your own device, or to simply view them online.
1915, 1918-1931, 1933-1968, 1970-1971, 1975-2014
If you own a copy of any of the missing years, and would like to lend it to us, we could scan it and return it to you. It would be greatly appreciated.
Death Records
The Winthrop Town Clerk has digitized Town Death Records for the years 1853 – 1967. These are digital copies of the original certificates and they’re fascinating. This project was also done by the Boston Public Library at no charge.
